Greenwood Village is an affluent, Denver suburb located just south of the City. It is home to the Denver Tech Center which is also called "The Other Downtown". That’s because there is as much office space in DTC as there is in downtown Denver.
Schools are Cherry Creek School District which are considered by many to be the best in the State and Littleton Schools which 
is also very highly rated. One local high school is Cherry Creek High School which has been a Blue Ribbon Award High School and is considered by some one of the best high schools in the state and the nation.
Greenwood Village housing is varied. Gated communities, horse properties, suburban Denver sub-divisions and upscale rental homes are prevalent. The Preserve is a luxury home community located within Greenwood Village with newer homes within a planned community. Soon light rail will connect Greenwood Village to Park Meadows and Downtown Denver.
Also, fashion Mall, Park Meadows, is less than 15 minutes south. Crime is relatively low. The new light rail to downtown Denver open is 2006. Auto commute to downtown is approximately 25 minutes.
