Do you have old household products around the house and want to get of but just don’t know the safe way to do it? Well, here is your chance with a $20 contribution per vehicle you can get ride of the unwanted clutter.

The Drop off and Dates:

 

July 26 Shea Stadium 3270 Redstone Park Circle, Highlands Ranch, Colorado

Sept. 20, Town of Castle Rock Utilities, 175 Kellogg Ct.

Accept:

House, garden and pool chemicals, Paint products, Automotive fluids, Fuels Propane tanks (1-20lbs), Vehicle and household batteries, Mercury passenger vehicle and pickup truck tires only (remove rim)

Will not accept: Business and commercial waste, Radioactive waste, Explosive waste, Smoke Detectors, Asbestos containing waste, Compressed gases other than propane, Tractor tires, Water-based latex paint.

    Is there any place in Douglas Cnty where you can drop off items other than the above mentioned dates? I cleaned out my garage two months ago, and wound up missing the drop-off in Castle Rock on 9/20/08.

    All the round up dates for Douglas County have passed.
    You can try Greg at Tri-County Health Department at 303-288-6816 to see if there is some other place you can drop off your household items.
    You can also keep an out for next years Roundup at http://www.tchd.org/householdchemical.htm for updates.
